WorleyParsons, the parent company of Advisian Digital Enterprise have signed a non-binding term sheet with Aurora Labs 3D. Aurora Labs 3D develop a range of 3D metal printers that “are affordable enough for university labs, prototyping workshops, dental practices, bureau printers or the garage of the designers of the next disruptive technology.”
The proposed venture seeks to bring together Aurora’s products and technology and Advisian’s and WorleyParsons’ substantial network, with a view to deliver the benefits of advanced 3D metal printing technologies to major infrastructure, mining and other resource companies around the world. Other industries and sectors will also be targeted.
The relationship is to focus on four areas – Licence and Distribution Agreement, Design and Certification (Solutions Centre), Print Bureau, and Powder Production. Each of these areas is discussed in this announcement.
